Open Source Software forms the backbone of the Dexter Biometry pipelines. Our standard genomics tool chain relies on the time-tested Genome Analysis Toolkit from the Broad Institute as well as other Open Source tools, but the output of these tools is just the beginning. To get to useful biological insight, we use a variety of custom tools to improve filtering and interpretability and provide custom visualizations and reports.
Containerized workflows allow us to run our pipelines on your hardware, ours, or the cloud with minimal changes to configuration. Scaling from pilot to high-throughput is also as easy as spinning up more containers.
